We have had a wonderful time getting to know Paul over the last two months. Here are some highlights:
Some fun facts about Paul
1. He has lots of hair and loves to have it brushed with his special brush (a toothbrush).
2. He likes to imitate people's facial expressions and even some sounds.
3. He has a stubborn side. It is nearly impossible to wake him up if he doesn't want to or feed him if he is not ready. He definitely knows what he wants, when he wants it.
4. Sometimes I think he is a clock and thankfully he put himself on a schedule (I think we lucked out on that one).
5. He has his father's hair and toes.
6. He has his mother's joints that pop and shoulder blades/chicken wings.
7. He has his own good looks since we have yet to pinpoint whose facial features he has.
8. His cough sounds more like a yell, he always sneezes in pairs, and he doesn't like the hiccups.
9. He loves motion. Everything from his swing and bouncy chair, to a moving car relaxes him. But he especially likes being wrapped up close to Mom and taken for walks.
10. He loves his parents (or at least they love him).

Dr. Visit
Paul had his 2 months Dr. visit today (he's just shy of 8 weeks old) and clocked in at 13 lbs 9 oz and 24 in. That's up 3lbs and 2in from 4 weeks ago. Way to go Paul!
Along with his wellness visit, Paul got his first round of vaccines. For being such a good sport (and for falling asleep on the car ride home) we let him sleep all afternoon while swinging on his throne.

Does the Smile Still Count if the Corners of the Mouth Do Not Turn Upwards?
Paul tries really hard to smile:

But we can't decide if the corners of his mouth will really turn upwards when he smiles

Or if he'll have an oval smile...

Like his mother...

I guess we'll have to wait and see.
But in the mean time, Paul dressed up as his dad for Halloween. Maybe that's a sign his smile will be an upper.

Little Man and Family
In December 2007 our family looked like this...

And then, on September 10th, 2008 our family picture changed for the better...
Paul immediately made himself at home in our little family and we just can't imagine life without him. Here are some pictures

Welcome
Welcome to our blog!
And Welcome Little Man...
We initially started blogging using Wordpress.org, but after learning that we couldn't post video clips without paying for an upgrade we decided to join the rest of the bloggers on blogspot.
Sorry for any repeat posts and for the multiple posts in one day, we've got a little bit of ground to make up.
Hope you enjoy!
